HELLO ALL

We’ve got lots goin on in the next couple of months. May 28th and 29th there’s the Apple Blossom Festival in Kentville, where we’ll be rockin’ Paddy’s Pub with Mike (shuffle-stiltskin) Carroll on drums.

June 4th we’ll be on CBC Information Morning’s 40th anniversary broadcast from the Cunard Centre in Halifax, and we’ll be backed up the CBC band....should be a fun one early in the morn!

June 5th we’ll be heading back to our hometown of Shelburne for an acoustic performance at The Osprey Arts Centre...we’re lookin forward to it since we haven’t played there for 2 years.

Then on June 12th we’ll be opening for Ari Hest at the Al Whittle...you may remember him from the Deep Roots Music Festival

July 2nd we’ll be opening for Matt Minglewood at the Fleet Club in Halifax with the Trio....it’s always fun to play a blues show.

And probably the biggest event this early summer will be the July 3rd release of a new record we made with The Dungaree Brothers. Scott Prudence wrote all the songs, and the album is called “South Mountain Swamp Rock Opera”. We recorded it at the Welding Shed in Port Williams over two days of sessions. The release concert will be at The Al Whittle Theatre in Wolfville, and will feature musicians Caleb Miles, Bob Federer, MIke Carroll, Ryan and Scott Hupman, Jack Macdonald, Nick Tipney, Peter Sutherland, and Brian Frizzle...stay tuned for more!

Songwriters Circle #2

Our next songwriters circle will take place at the Whittle on Friday March 26th. Tickets are now on sale at The Box of Delights Bookstore in Wolfville, or you’ll be able to pay at the door.

This installment will be a “Duos” night, featuring T@B, and Acres and Acres. This is sure to be a great night of music so don’t miss it.
